Hewitt checking out Thomas's cool locker. (I didn't get a locker until middle school. I must admit that I was a little jealous.)

First Day of School
Thomas went to his first day of kindergarten last week. He was very excited. The first day his teacher said that he was "rambunctious." I smiled and told her to tell me when he has behavior problems because he definitely will. I have been pleasantly surprised though as his teacher has had raving reviews the last three days. This might have something to do with the starburst he is promised if his teacher says he has been good. I hope this lasts far longer than just kindergarten. Maybe the one starburst at the end of the day will last me through elementary school although I'm sure I will have to bribe him with more.

Hewitt is looking pretty cool with his upturned collar. Very hip.
I can't believe Thomas is in kindergarten! How did that happen?
Thomas will be a champ in kindergarten. I am shocked to see how Emily is acting now that she is in kindergarten. She seems to be calmer at school and she knows it is so much different than home, with friends, and primary (where I am there). They should be much better at church, but they are so comfortable there. I think Thomas and Emily will be good at school until at least Christmas. ;)
Bribery is the most useful parenting tool ever! I had to bribe Sam when he was in kindergarten so that he would tell the teacher when he needed to use the bathroom instead of just having accidents. I threatened and pleaded and reminded him till I was blue in the face. As soon as I offered a toy for two weeks of no accidents, he instantly stopped having problems.
Yeah for Thomas! I hope he has a great teacher and that he enjoys school :). I can't believe our babies are old enough for school!
Your boys are so cute. I can't believe how fast time goes by...it just seems like the other day when we were pregnant with Thomas and Callie and now they are in kindergarten.
He's so grown up! I can't believe how fast that went! He'll do great. btw: the kids go to Ardmore Ave Elem. in Lansdowne. They love school but hate to get up in the morning. We miss you guys. I'm so glad you blog so I can still see you (sort of). :)
