Driving the Truck

The Penske truck was extremely slow. It seemed like the people driving the truck were always the most cranky so we had to take turns to spread the love. (It was like wearing a horcrux for all of the Harry Potter fans...) Steve and I drove the truck with Hewitt in between us for the two longest days. Hewitt was amazing. He was so happy to be in the truck. I think he got more attention in those two days then he has received in his whole life. Of course he loved it. We did have a few other stops along the route that I didn't have pictures for including visiting with our friends the Brysons in beautiful Couer d'Alene, Idaho. Why I didn't take pictures is a mystery. We also stopped in Billings Montana for the Fourth of July where Steve lost his phone. Our favorite food stops were Five Guys and Quiznos. Those places both hit the spot and properly rejuvenated us to continue driving. This is one trip that we won't forget anytime soon.

Oh the penske truck... Our memories are all too fresh. Luckily our truck only had Keith and Bennett. Doing the Kentucky-Nevada trip sounds like a bad idea with a month-old baby. I flew and Keith had the horcrux. :) Except he was also towing our car behind it. Definitely no fun. You need a picture of you driving that big machine! I'm sure you were an awesome trucker!

Steph, you don't mess around at Five Guys...double patty and all! I'm impressed. It's Chris' fav spot for our date nights (we have one close by)...sometimes I want to just ask if I can have a plate of bacon...

At least no Penske truck in the future for a while, eh?!

Yeah--what the heck? If I didn't know better, I'd think you were ashamed of us. So sad.

I'm so glad you're done moving and can start settling in. You guys are great! Maybe we'll visit you one day...and take some pictures to prove it.

Yeah! I'm glad you made it with so many fun memories to share. I'm dad also went over the pass near Spokane and told me how slow it was in the Penske. By the way I love the bad lands and am happy you enjoyed exploring that area...with e the Daines too?! How cool! Well now post pics of your place and hopefully we can meet up with you guys, maybe Mt. St. Helen's. Dave really wants to go there.
